What are Rue NFTs
Monster Suit RueNFTs is a genesis collection of 100 NFTs uniquely designed by hand. Created by founder Fresh and illustrated by partner and popular Japanese artist, USGMEN, the series is set to launch on February 28, 2022. Each RueNFT is customized with a variety of traits and rarities across different categories.
About the founder
My name is Fresh. I have over 12 years of experience working in the music industry. I specialize in artist development, brand management, and strategic marketing. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with major and independent labels to deliver successful projects and single releases throughout my career.
I’d like to consider myself a wizard, as I wear many different hats. I was a tour manager for OVO artist Roy Woods’ first U.S. tour. I’m a content creator for Genshin Impact and currently am the only content creator that has a community-verified account on their platform, HoyoLabs. Additionally, I’ve worked with voice actors from Demon Slayer, produced and written music for a Sesame Street episode, as well as produced several episodes for National Geographic: Drugs and Underworld Inc. I’m also a vintage Pokémon graded collector.
Humbly speaking, I think I have impeccable taste and consider myself a collector of fine art. When I entered the NFT space, I was immediately drawn to it. Furthermore, the entire space revolves around community-based principles. Personally, that resonated with me because my goal is to bring people together. I also saw the opportunity to express my ideas and always dreamt of creating my own characters, comics, toys, games, etc. With this in mind, I came to the realization that Rue, the mascot of my company Crystal Roots, would help me bring my vision to life.
What inspired (Monster Suit) Rue NFTs
My company, Crystal Roots, holds meaning to the word “root” itself. Roots help provide nourishment to plants which in turn, provide oxygen for all of us. In short, the roots are the foundation, and that is the meaning behind the brand. Rue is a digital ghost, designed by my partner USGMEN. It is meant to reflect all of us in some way. I feel themes like “diamonds in the rough” or “don’t judge a book by its cover” are representative to the concept behind RueNFTs. I believe everyone is special and has unlimited potential. Not everyone will see the value of your potential for what it’s worth, but a diamond is still a diamond despite its imperfections. In today’s world, people tend to judge you by what you do rather than who you are. I want to change that one person at a time.
I wanted to design diverse monster suits because we all have different perspectives, character traits, and abilities. I want to provide holders with the experience of selecting a Rue that most resonates with them.
This is our genesis collection but the possibilities are endless as we expand.

Holders will get a limited high quality hand drawn digital ghost illustrated by USGMEN that also serves as a membership to our private community with access to giveaways, limited merchandise, and priority to future collections.

Collaborations— We plan to collaborate with other artists and projects whose community and vision align with ours to present amazing art, a unique experience and value to holders.
Our goal is to expand further one step at a time but for now, the plan is to under promise and over deliver.
